Respite services provide temporary relief in the home to convalescents and those persons caring for an individual who as a result of impairment requires extra assistance.
Services may include:
- Personal care
- Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Assistance with pre-measured medications
- Supervision and activities.
Trained staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The minimum visit is 2 hours with a limited number of hours available at a subsidized rate. (Subsidized rate – $11.00/hour and standard rate – $24.00/hour)
