Transportation for seniors and disabled adults residing in the municipality of South Dundas is provided for medical appoints, Adult Day program, shopping trips, and social outings. Transportation is provided by trained volunteers using private vehicles or the agency owned van. Medical appointments and Adult Day program will take priority over social and shopping trips. Transportation is a door to door service and needs to be booked at least two business days prior to an upcoming appointment.
Persons with a physical disability who cannot travel in a conventional car can request the service of a wheelchair accessible van by contacting Carefor at 613-749-7557 extension 2178.
Clients are charged a reasonable fee based on destination and are responsible to pay any parking fees.
