Centre receives grant from John Stewart Estate Memorial Trust

By | Centre Events

Thank you to the John Stewart Estate Memorial Trust for their continuing support through out the years. Money from this grant will be used to help support seniors and adults with disabilities living in our community.

The money for the annual grants is investment income derived from the 1991 sale of the John Stewart Home, once located in Cornwall. The home was opened in 1930 as a modest facility to provide housing for poor and indigent persons.
